1In section 2 (rules, etc., of Savings Banks including the confirmation of rules by justices), there shall be substituted—

(a)for the words “Jusitices of the Peace assembled at the Quarter Sessions of the Peace” the words “sheriff” ;

(b)for the word “Justices” the word “sheriff” ;

(c)for the words “Clerk of the said Justices” (wherever occurring) the words “sheriff clerk”.

2In section 4 (further provision in relation to the rules, etc., of Savings Banks), there shall be substituted—
