The preparation of Saccharomyces cerevisiae CNCM I-4407, belonging to the additive category ‘zootechnical additives’ and to the functional group ‘gut flora stabilisers’, is authorised as an additive in animal nutrition in accordance with the specifications in the following table(1).

For identification of yeast strain:

  • Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method in accordance with DD CEN/TS 15790:2008(3).
