1. These Regulations may be cited as the Licensing (Designation of Outdoor Stadia) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2016 and shall come into operation on 1st September 2016.
2. The main stadium of the Irish Rugby Football Union in Ulster at 85 Ravenhill Park, Belfast is designated as an outdoor stadium of importance to the whole of Northern Ireland for the purposes of Article 2AA(c) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996.

These Regulations designate the main stadium of the Irish Rugby Football Union in Ulster at 85 Ravenhill Park, Belfast as an outdoor stadium of importance to the whole of Northern Ireland. This designation allows the Ulster Branch of the Irish Rugby Football Union to apply to the courts for a liquor licence at the stadium.
