Coming into Operation

In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Official Secrets Act, 1911, as amended by . section 10 of the Official Secrets Act, 1920 and as read with . section 6 of the Atomic Energy Authority Act, 1954 I hereby make the following Order:—
1. This Order may be cited as the Official Secrets (Prohibited Place) Order, 1955, and shall come into operation on the first day of October, 1955.
2. The place specified in the Schedule to this Order, being a place belonging to or used for the purposes of the United Kingdom Atomic Energy Authority, is declared to be a prohibited place for the purposes of the Official Secrets Act, 1911, on the ground that information with respect thereto, or damage thereto, would be useful to an enemy.
