EXTRADITION

The Extradition (Designated Commonwealth Countries) Order 1991

The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 5(1) of the Extradition Act 1989(1) or otherwise in Her Majesty vested, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:–

1.  This Order may be cited as the Extradition (Designated Commonwealth Countries) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 22nd August 1991.

2.  The countries listed in Schedule 1 to this Order are hereby designated for the purposes of section 1(2) of the Extradition Act 1989.

3.  The Orders listed in Schedule 2 to this Order are hereby revoked.
