1. 1. This Annex describes the procedure whereby the manufacturer, or his authorised representative established in the [F19European Union], ensures and declares that the equipment which has been issued with the certificate referred to in point 4 conforms to the requirements of this Directive. The manufacturer, or his authorised representative established in the [F19European Union], must affix the CE marking supplemented by the information as required in Article 11 to the equipment and draw up the EC declaration of conformity referred to in Article 8.N.I.
