1. These Regulations may be cited as the Structural Funds (National Assembly for Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2010 and shall come into force on 11th November 2010.
2. In regulation 2 of the Structural Funds (National Assembly for Wales) Regulations 2006(3) for the definition of “the 2006 Structural Funds Regulation” substitute—
““the 2006 Structural Funds Regulation” means Council Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006 of 11 July 2006 laying down general provisions on the European Regional Development Fund, the European Social Fund and the Cohesion Fund and repealing Regulation (EC) No 1260/1999 as amended by Regulation (EU) No 539/2010 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 16 June 2010(4)”.

The Structural Funds (National Assembly for Wales) Regulations 2006 contains provisions to enable the National Assembly for Wales to exercise in relation Wales certain functions under Council Regulation (EC) No 1083/2006. These Regulations amend the 2006 Regulations to take account of an amendment to Article 48 of the 2006 Council Regulation.
