The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 4(2) of the Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 2013(1):
1. This order may be cited as the Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 2013 (Commencement) Order 2013.
2. Section 2 of the Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 2013 comes into force on 15th July 2013.

Article 2 of this Order brings section 2 of the Mental Health (Discrimination) Act 2013 (c.8) into force. Section 2 amends the Juries Act 1974 (c.23) in relation to qualification for jury service based on mental health.
