These Regulations amend the Education (Pupil Information) (England) Regulations 2005.
They provide that the information to be included in the head teacher’s report to parents for pupils with special educational needs in key stage 2 must include the pupil’s assessment in English and mathematics and remove the reporting requirement for science.
The Regulations also amend the information to be included in the common transfer file when a pupil in the first or second key stage has been assessed against P Scales of attainment moves from a maintained school to another school (whether maintained or not) to include the pupil’s assessment in English and mathematics.
The Regulations also remove the inclusion of the reporting requirements in science and other foundation subjects.
