Timeline of Changes

The term provision is used to describe a definable element in a piece of legislation that has legislative effect – such as a Part, Chapter or section. A version of a provision is prospective either:
- where the provision (Part, Chapter or section) has never come into force or;
- where the text of the provision is subject to change, but no date has yet been appointed by the appropriate person or body for those changes to come into force.

13SIn section 313(3), for the words from “may,” to the end substitute “ may treat the failure as a failure to carry out work required by a work notice (within the meaning of the Housing (Scotland) Act 2006 (asp 1)) and the provisions of that Act which relate to the enforcement of such notices by local authorities shall apply with such modifications as may be necessary. ”.
