Children (Care and Justice) (Scotland) Act 2024, Section 38 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 08 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
(1)This section and sections 35, 36 and 39 come into force on the day after Royal Assent.
(2)Section 33 comes into force on whichever is the later of—
(a)the day after Royal Assent,
(b)16 July 2024.
(3)The other provisions of this Act come into force on such day as the Scottish Ministers may by regulations appoint.
(4)Regulations under subsection (3) may—
(a)include transitional, transitory or saving provision,
(b)make different provision for different purposes.
