The Children (1995 Order) (Commencement No. 1) Order (Northern Ireland) 1995

Appointed day

2.  The following provisions of the Children (Northern Ireland) Order 1995 shall come into operation on 1st July 1995—

(a) Articles 1 and 2;

(b) Articles 155, 156 and 157 and Schedule 6;

(c) Articles 183 and 184(2);

(d) Articles 184(1) and 185 to the extent that those provisions activate the transitional provision, amendments and repeals mentioned in sub-paragraphs (e), (f) and (g);

(e) in Schedule 8, paragraph 33;

(f) in Schedule 9, paragraphs 8, 14, 82, 93(a), 101(a) and 186; and

(g) in Schedule 10, the repeals of Articles 3, 4 and 6 of the Family Law Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 1977(1).
