Commencement of provisions

2.  The following provisions of the Pensions (No. 2) Act (Northern Ireland) 2008 shall come into operation on 1st April 2009—

(a)in Schedule 6 (amendments of Schedule 6 to the 2005 Order)—

(i)paragraphs 1 to 9,

(ii)paragraph 13 for the purpose only of the insertion by paragraph 14 of paragraphs 25B to 25F of Schedule 6 to the 2005 Order (but not for the purpose of making regulations or any other purpose),

(iii)paragraph 14 except for the purpose of the deferral of compensation entitlement in the definition of “relevant age” in the inserted paragraph 25B, and

(iv)paragraphs 16 to 18; and

(b)section 100 in so far as it relates to those provisions.
