Greater London Authority Act 1999, Paragraph 102 is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 01 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
102(1)Section 95 of the M1Police Act 1996 (which provides for expenditure on special constables and police cadets to be paid out of the metropolitan police fund and which, so far as relating to that fund, is unnecessary in view of the amendment made to section 14) shall be amended as follows.U.K.
(2)The following words shall cease to have effect—
(a)“the metropolitan police fund and”;
(b)“respectively (subject, in the case of the metropolitan police fund, to the approval of the Secretary of State)”;
(c)in paragraph (a), “the metropolitan police district or”; and
(d)in paragraph (b), “the metropolitan police force or”.
(3)The sidenote to the section accordingly becomes “The City of London police fund.”
