Regulation 2(4)
SCHEDULE 4AMENDMENTS TO THE CRIMINAL JUSTICE ACT 1972 AND THE POWERS OF CRIMINAL COURTS ACT 1973
1. In section 24(3) of the Criminal Justice Act 1972(1) (driving disqualification where vehicle used for purposes of crime)–
(a)after the words “held by him” there shall be inserted the words “together with its counterpart”;
(b)in paragraph (a), after the words “the licence” there shall be inserted the words “and its counterpart”; and
(c)in paragraph (b), after the words “endorsed on” there shall be inserted the words “the counterpart of”.
2. In section 44(3) of the Powers of Criminal Courts Act 1973(2) (driving disqualification where vehicle used for purposes of crime)–
(a)after the words “held by him” there shall be inserted the words “together with its counterpart”;
(b)in paragraph (a), after the words “the licence” there shall be inserted the words “and its counterpart”; and
(c)in paragraph (b), after the words “endorsed on” there shall be inserted the words “the counterpart of”.
