Contracting out of functions of the Treasury
2. Any function of the Treasury which is listed in the Schedule to this Order(1) may, to such extent as is specified, be exercised by, or by employees of, such person (if any) as may be authorised in that behalf by the Treasury.

The functions listed in the Schedule to this Order were transferred to the Treasury by the Transfer of Functions (Insurance) Order 1997 (S.I. 1997/2781).
