19.  In regulation 53 of the Representation of the People (England and Wales) Regulations 2001(1) (additional requirements for application for a proxy vote for a definite or indefinite period on grounds of blindness or other disability)—

(a)in paragraph (2)(j), for “Health Professions Order 2001” substitute “Health and Social Work Professions Order 2001”, and

(b)in paragraph (3)(a), after sub-paragraph (ii) add—

(iii)the person is a social worker who qualifies by virtue of sub-paragraph (j) of paragraph (2), and has arranged care or assistance for the applicant in respect of that disability; or.
