Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970

1. In the Chronically Sick and Disabled Persons Act 1970(1), in section 21(7E) (badges for display on motor vehicles used by disabled persons), omit “but the Secretary of State shall consult with the Administrative Justice and Tribunals Council before making regulations that so provide”.

1970 c.44. Section 21(7E) was inserted by the Transport Act 1982 (c.49), section 68, and was amended by the Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Act 2007 (c.15), Schedule 8, paragraph 2.

Explanatory Memorandum
Explanatory Memorandum sets out a brief statement of the purpose of a Statutory Instrument and provides information about its policy objective and policy implications. They aim to make the Statutory Instrument accessible to readers who are not legally qualified and accompany any Statutory Instrument or Draft Statutory Instrument laid before Parliament from June 2004 onwards.
