48.—(1) Annex 2 (air traffic flow management function) is amended as follows.

(2) In Part A (objective and scope)—

(a)in point 1, point (a), for “European air traffic management network (EATMN)” substitute “ UK ATMS ”,

(b)in point 2 for “EATMN” substitutes “UK ATMS”,

(c)in point 5 omit point (f),

(d)in point 6—

(i)for “central unit for ATFM” substitute “ unit providing central ATFM ”, and

(ii)omit “at functional airspace block level”,

(e)after point 6 insert—

6a.  ‘Central ATFM’ means the air traffic flow management functions provided centrally by Eurocontrol where it compares flight plans with available airspace capacity and makes adjustments to minimise delays in air traffic;, and

(f)in point 7 omit “and the Network Manager through its central unit for ATFM”.

(3) In Part B (planning and operational principles)—
