27.—(1) The State Pension Regulations 2015(1) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 11 (days which are not included in determining the period of deferral), after paragraph (2)(a)(vi) insert—
“(via)carer support payment under the Carer’s Assistance (Carer Support Payment) (Scotland) Regulations 2023 (“carer support payment”);”.
(3) In regulation 28(4)(a)(i) (credits for spouses and civil partners of members of Her Majesty’s forces), after “carer’s allowance” insert “or carer support payment”.
(4) In regulation 29(2)(b) (credits under the 1975 regulations), after “carer’s allowance” insert “or carer support payment”.
(5) In regulation 33(4)(a)(i) (credits for spouses and civil partners of members of Her Majesty's forces), after “carer’s allowance” insert “or carer support payment”.
(6) In regulation 38 (credits for an additional period in respect of entitlement to carer's allowance and relevant benefits)—
(a)in the heading, after “carer’s allowance” insert “or carer support payment”;
(b)in paragraph (1)(a), after “carer's allowance by virtue of subsection (1) of section 70 of the 1992 Act” insert “or carer support payment under the Carer’s Assistance (Carer Support Payment) (Scotland) Regulations 2023”;
(c)at the end of paragraph (1)(b) insert “or carer support payment by virtue of those Regulations”;
(d)in paragraph (2), after “an allowance under section 70 of the 1992 Act” insert “or carer support payment under the Carer’s Assistance (Carer Support Payment) (Scotland) Regulations 2023”.
