The Water and Sewerage Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006, The Water Supplies and Sewerage Act (Northern Ireland) 1945 (c. 17) is up to date with all changes known to be in force on or before 10 March 2025. There are changes that may be brought into force at a future date. Changes that have been made appear in the content and are referenced with annotations.
2.—(1) In section 4(1)(a) for “the Ministry of Development” substituted “ any water undertaker ”.N.I.
(2) In section 4(1) for “by the Ministry” substitute “ by the Water Appeals Commission ”.
(3) In section 4 at the end add—
“(4) Article 107(1) of the Water and Sewerage Services (Northern Ireland) Order 2006 (standards of wholesomeness of water) and any regulations made under that paragraph shall apply for the purposes of this section as they apply for the purposes of Chapter III of Part IV of that Order.”.
