Animal By-Products (Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002

The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development(1), being a Department designated(2) for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(3) in relation to the common agricultural policy of the European Communities, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by the said section 2(2) and of every other power enabling it in that behalf, hereby makes the following Regulations.

Citation and commencement

1.  These Regulations may be cited as the Animal By-Products (Revocation) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2002 and shall come into operation on 8th July 2002.

Revocations

2.  The Animal By-Products Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993(4) and the Animal By-Products (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998(5) are hereby revoked.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Regulations.)

These Regulations revoke the Animal By-Products Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1993 and the Animal By-Products (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 1998. Those Regulations are re-enacted with amendments in the Animal By-Products Order (Northern Ireland) 2002 (S.R. 2002 No. 209).
