1. These Regulations may be cited as the Service of Certain Documents (Prescribed Body) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004 and shall come into operation on 1st November 2004.
2. The Department hereby prescribes a registered housing association as a prescribed body for the purposes of Article 104 of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992.

Article 104(2) of the Housing (Northern Ireland) Order 1992 (Service of Certain Documents) makes provision for the Department to prescribe a body which may serve certain documents by ordinary post. These Regulations prescribe a registered housing association as a prescribed body.
