The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by Article 1(2) of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 (Commencement No.1) Order 2005.
2. Articles 13, 20 and 22 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 shall come into force on 19th August 2005.

This order commences Articles 13, 20 and 22 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Order 2005 on 19th August 2005.
Article 13 provides for a right to representation at prison disciplinary hearings. Article 20 enables the hypothecation of speed camera revenue. Article 22 facilitates the availability of legal aid at extradition hearings.
