Milk and Milk Products (Pupils in Educational Establishments) (Amendment) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2007

Coming into operation-
1st January 2008
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development is designated(1) for the purpose of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972(2) as regards measures relating to the common agricultural policy of the European Community.
These Regulations make provision for a purpose mentioned in that section and it appears to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development that it is expedient for the reference to Commission Regulation (EC) No 2707/2000(3) laying down rules for applying Council Regulation (EC) No 1255/1999 as regards Community aid for supplying milk and certain milk products to pupils in educational establishments to be construed as a reference to that instrument as amended from time to time.
The Department of Agriculture and Rural Development makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 2(2) of, and paragraph 1A of Schedule 2 to, the European Communities Act 1972(4).
