1. These Regulations may be cited as the Licensing (Notice relating to Age) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2012 and shall come into operation on 1st May 2012.
2. A notice under Article 60B(1) of the Licensing (Northern Ireland) Order 1996 must—
(a)contain the information specified in the Schedule; and
(b)be contained in a document the dimensions of which are no less than 297 mm in length and 210 mm in width.

These Regulations prescribe the notice relating to age that licensed premises must display in those areas where intoxicating liquor is sold; the information to be contained in the notice in relation to offences concerning the sale to, purchase or consumption of intoxicating liquor by persons under 18 years of age; and the list of acceptable proof-of-age documents where there is doubt as to whether a person is aged 18 years or over.
