1.—(1) This Order may be cited as The Trunk Roads T1, T3 and T7 (York Street Interchange) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017 and shall come into operation on 7th March 2017.
(2) In this Order “Map 1” to “Map 5”, inclusive means the sequence of drawings numbered from YSI-TNI-XX-XX-DR-OR004 to YSI-TNI-XX-XX-DR-OR008 inclusive marked “The Trunk Roads T1, T3 and T7 (York Street Interchange) Order (Northern Ireland) 2017” copies of which have been deposited at the Department’s TransportNI offices, Headquarters, Clarence Court, 10-18 Adelaide Street, Belfast BT2 8GB and Eastern Division, Hydebank, 4 Hospital Road, Belfast BT8 8JL.
2. The Department designates and directs as follows—
(1) That the lengths of road described in Part I of the Schedule shall become special and trunk road and be part of the Belfast-Bangor Trunk Road T1.
(2) That the lengths of road described in Part II of the Schedule shall become special and trunk road and be part of the Belfast-Ballygawley-Londonderry-Land Frontier Trunk Road T3.
(3) That the lengths of road described in Part III of the Schedule shall become special and trunk road and be part of the Belfast-Coleraine-Londonderry Trunk Road T7.
3. The Department shall carry out such works as it considers necessary for the provision of alternative facilities for road traffic and on completion of the works the junctions described in Part IV of the Schedule shall be stopped-up to road traffic.
4. The roads described in Parts I, II and III of the Schedule shall be used only by traffic of Classes I and II as set out in Schedule 1 to the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993.
