1. This Order may be cited as the Fair Employment (Specification of Public Authorities) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2023 and shall come into operation on 1st January 2024.
2. For the Schedule to the Fair Employment (Specification of Public Authorities) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004(4) substitute the Schedule set out in the Schedule to this Order.
3. The Fair Employment (Specification of Public Authorities) (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2016(5) is revoked.

This Order amends the Fair Employment (Specification of Public Authorities) Order (Northern Ireland) 2004 (“the 2004 Order”) which specifies a number of persons or bodies as public authorities for certain purposes under Part VII of the Fair Employment and Treatment (Northern Ireland) Order 1998 (“the 1998 Order”).
The Schedule to the 2004 Order lists in Part I the bodies who are public authorities for the purposes of Articles 52 to 65 of the 1998 Order and in Part II the bodies who are public authorities for the purposes of Articles 62 to 65 of the 1998 Order.
Article 2 of this Order substitutes a new Schedule to the 2004 Order.
