The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 94(3)(b) of the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003(1), hereby make the following Order:
1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Crime (International Co-operation) Act 2003 (Commencement No. 1) (Scotland) Order 2004.
(2) This Order extends to Scotland only.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of section 89 of the Crime (International Co operation) Act 2003 is 26th April 2004.

This Order, which extends to Scotland only, brings into force on 26th April 2004 section 89 of the Crime (International Co operation) Act 2003. Section 89 inserts a new section 46A into the Criminal Law (Consolidation) (Scotland) Act 1995, which relates to offences in respect of false monetary instruments.
