The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the power conferred by section 83(2) of the Tribunals (Scotland) Act 2014(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
1. This Order may be cited as the Tribunals (Scotland) Act 2014 (Commencement No. 3) Order 2015 and comes into force on 8th January 2016.
2. 8th January 2016 is the day appointed for the coming into force of paragraph 13(1) and (2)(b)(i) of schedule 9 to the Tribunals (Scotland) Act 2014 (amendment of section 2(1)(c) of the Scottish Civil Justice Council and Criminal Legal Assistance Act 2013(2)).

This Order brings into force on 8th January 2016 paragraph 13(1) and (2)(b)(i) of schedule 9 to the Tribunals (Scotland) Act 2014 (the “2014 Act”) which provides for the amendment of section 2(1)(c) of the Scottish Civil Justice Council and Criminal Legal Assistance Act 2013.
The 2014 Act received Royal Assent on 15th April 2014. Section 83(1) of the 2014 Act brought sections 82 to 84 into force on the following day.

Section 77 of the 2014 Act was never in force and was repealed by the Courts Reform (Scotland) Act 2014 (asp 18), schedule 4, paragraph 8.
