The Scottish Ministers make the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 78(3) of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015(1) and all other powers enabling them to do so.
In accordance with section 142(2) of that Act, a draft of this instrument has been laid before, and approved by resolution of, the Scottish Parliament.
1. This Order may be cited as the Asset Transfer Request (Designation of Relevant Authority) (Scotland) Order 2017 and comes into force on 23rd January 2017.
2. Historic Environment Scotland(2) is designated as a relevant authority for the purposes of Part 5 (asset transfer requests) of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.

This Order designates Historic Environment Scotland as a relevant authority for the purposes of Part 5 of the Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015.
Historic Environment Scotland is constituted under the Historic Environment Scotland Act 2014 (asp 19).
