1. These Regulations may be cited as the Health Protection (Coronavirus) (International Travel) (Scotland) Amendment (No. 13) Regulations 2020 and come into force at 4.00 a.m. on 5 September 2020.
2.—(1) The Health Protection (Coronavirus) (International Travel) (Scotland) Regulations 2020(1) are amended in accordance with paragraphs (2) to (7).
(2) In regulation 2 (interpretation), in the definition of “specified competition”, for “schedule 3” substitute “schedule 3A”.
(3) In regulation 6(3)(a)(i), for “as the place they intend to stay in for the duration of the period specified in paragraph (2)” substitute “in accordance with paragraph 2(a) of schedule 1,”.
(4) In Part 1 of schedule A1 (countries and territories) omit—
(a)“French Polynesia”, and
(b)“Portugal”.
(5) In schedule 1 (passenger information), for paragraph 2(a), substitute—
“(a)the address where—
(i)in the case of a person who is required to comply with regulation 6(2), they intend to stay in accordance with that regulation, or
(ii)in the case of any other person, they intend to stay during the period of 14 days beginning on the day after the date of their arrival in Scotland,”.
(6) In paragraph 4D of schedule 2 (persons not required to comply with regulations 3 or 6), after “the Merchant Shipping Act 1995” insert “, or by a government of a relevant British possession as defined in section 313(1) of that Act”.
(7) For schedule 3 (specified competitions) substitute the schedule 3A (specified competitions) contained in the schedule of these Regulations.
3. The amendments made by these Regulations do not apply in relation to any person who arrived in Scotland during the period beginning at 12:01 am on 8 June 2020 and ending immediately prior to the coming into force of these Regulations, and the Health Protection (Coronavirus) (International Travel) (Scotland) Regulations 2020 continue to apply to such persons as if the amendments made by these Regulations had not been made.
