Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1
The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 8(1) of, and paragraph 21 of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018(1).
In accordance with paragraph 2(2) of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 1972 and paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 7 to the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018, a draft of this instrument has been laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Common Agricultural Policy (Financing, Management and Monitoring Supplementary Provisions) (Miscellaneous Amendments) (EU Exit) Regulations 2019 and come into force on the later of exit day or the day after the day on which they are made.

These Regulations are made in exercise of the powers conferred by the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018 (c.16) in order to address failures of retained EU law to operate effectively and other deficiencies (in particular under section 8(2)(a), (b), (d) and (g) arising from the withdrawal of the United Kingdom from the European Union.
These Regulations make amendments to legislation relating to the Common Agricultural Policy in relation to the United Kingdom. In particular, these Regulations amend legislation supplementing Regulation (EU) No 1306/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
