The Secretary of State makes these Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by paragraph 60A(1), (2) and (7) of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986(1).
In accordance with paragraph 60A(9) of that Schedule, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
1986 c. 45. Schedule B1 was inserted by section 248 of the Enterprise Act 2002 (c. 40). Paragraph 60A of that Schedule was inserted by section 129 of the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015 (c. 26). That paragraph expired at the end of 25th May 2020 and was revived by section 8 of the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Act 2020 (c. 12) with effect from the beginning of 26th June 2020.
