1E+W+SSection 80 of the Unemployment Insurance Act 1935 (which provides for payments out of the National Insurance Fund in respect of the attendance at certain courses of persons entitled to unemployment benefit) shall cease to have effect.

2E+W+SSections 2 to 5 of the Disabled Persons (Employment) Act 1944 (which relate to vocational training and industrial rehabilitation courses) shall cease to have effect, and in section 16 of that Act (which requires the Secretary of State to give preference to ex-service men and women in selecting persons for such courses and in selecting disabled persons as candidates for engagements) the words “vocational training and industrial rehabilitation and” and the words from “and in selecting” to “engagements” shall be omitted.
