An Act to amend further the Parks Regulation Act 1872.

Be it enacted by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:—
1(1)This Act may be cited as the Parks Regulation (Amendment) Act 1974.
(2)The [35 & 36 Vict. c. 15.] Parks Regulation Act 1872 and the [16 & 17 Geo. c. 36.] Parks Regulation (Amendment) Act 1926 and this Act may be cited together as the Parks Regulation Acts 1872 to 1974.
2The Parks Regulation Act 1872 shall have effect subject to the amendments set out in the Schedule to this Act.
Section 2.
1In sections 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8 for the words "park-keeper" or " keeper ", there shall be substituted the words " park constable " .
2After section 3 there shall be inserted the following section:—
Every park constable shall on appointment be attested as a constable by making a declaration before a justice of the peace that he will duly execute the office of constable.”
