“the Commissioners” means the Chief and other Social Security Commissioners for Northern Ireland;
“the Department”, except in the expression “the Department of Finance and Personnel”, means the Department of Health and Social Services for Northern Ireland.
(2)The references in paragraphs 3(1)(b) and 4 to service by any person as a Commissioner include references to service treated as service as a Commissioner under paragraph 5(2) of Schedule 10 to the M1Social Security (Northern Ireland) Act 1975 (service under former enactments).
