The following table fixes, according to the length of the ship—
(A)
The minimum number of sets of davitsto be provided to each of which must be attached a boat of Class I in accordance with Regulation XXXVIII above.
(B)
The smaller number of sets of davits which may be authorised exceptionallyunder Regulation XXXVIII.
(C)
The minimum life-boat capacity required,including the life-boats attached to davits and the additional boats, in accordance with Regulation XXXVIII.
