An Act to amend the law relating to the protection of the coast of Great Britain against erosion and encroachment by the sea; to provide for the restriction and removal of works detrimental to navigation; to transfer the management of Crown foreshore from the Minister of Transport to the Commissioners of Crown Lands; and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid.

C1Act: certain functions of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food were transferred by S.I. 1978/272, art. 2, Sch. 1; and by S.I. 1985/442, art. 2 it is provided that the functions of the Secretary of State under this Act, so far as, immediately before the coming into operation of that 1985 S.I. (1.4.1985), entrusted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, are transferred to the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food
