The Children and Young Persons Act 1969 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1969

3rd November 1969

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 73(2) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1969, I hereby make the following Order:—

Citation

1.  This Order may be cited as the Children and Young Persons Act 1969 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1969.

Interpretation

2.  In this Order “the Act” means the Children and Young Persons Act 1969.

Day appointed for coming into force of certain provisions of the Act

3.  The provisions of the Act specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the matters specified in column 2 thereof) shall come into operation on 16th November 1969.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
