1.—(1) This order may be cited as the Sugar Act 1956 (Repeals) (Appointed Day) (No. 2) Order 1973, and shall come into operation on 1st July 1973.
(2) The Interpretation Act 1889 shall apply to the interpretation of this order as it applies to the interpretation of an Act of Parliament.
2. The repeal of the enactments mentioned in the Schedule to this order shall take effect, to the extent specified in column 3 of the Schedule, on 1st July 1973.
In Witness whereof the Official Seal of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is hereunto affixed on 5th June 1973.
