EXPLANATORY NOTE
Part V of Schedule 1 to the Local Government Act 1972 makes provision for the constitution of parishes for areas of existing boroughs and urban districts in England. This Order gives effect to proposals made by the Local Government Boundary Commission for England. It also specifies a date for certain electoral provisions of the 1972 Act (see article 4).
