The Secretary of State for Social Services in relation to England and the Secretary of State for Wales in relation to Wales in exercise of powers conferred by section 143 of the Public Health Act 1936 and now vested in them(1) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, and, so far as they apply to officers of customs and excise, with the consent of the Commissioners of Customs and Excise, hereby make the following regulations:—
