The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 76(1) of the Administration of Justice Act 1982, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Administration of Justice Act 1982 (Commencement No. 5) Order 1986.
2. Sections 38 to 47 and section 75, so far as it relates to the County Courts Act 1959, of the Administration of Justice Act 1982 shall come into force on 2nd January 1987.

This Order brings the following provisions of the Administration of Justice Act 1982 into force on 2nd January 1987:
(a) Sections 38 to 47 (provision for the administration and investment of funds in court);
(b) Section 75 (repeals and revocations), as it relates to the County Courts Act 1959.
The following provisions of the Act have been brought into force by commencement orders made before the date of this Order:
