In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 50 and 63 of the Education (No. 2) Act 1986(1), read with section 114 of the Education Act 1944(2), and (as respects the revocation made by regulation 13) by sections 3(a) and 4 of the Education Act 1962(3), I hereby make the following Regulations:-

1944 c. 31 (section 114(1) defines “prescribed”), S.I.1964/490, 1970/1536 and 1978/274.

1962 c. 12. Sections 3 and 4 are set out, as substituted, in Schedule 5 to the Education Act 1980 (c. 20).
