The Queen’s Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 12 of the Trustee Investments Act 1961(1), and of all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:—
1. This Order may be cited as the Trustee Investments (Additional Powers) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 13th August 1992.
2. The powers of investment conferred by section 1 of the Trustee Investment Act 1961 shall be extended by adding National Savings FIRST Option Bonds to paragraph 1 ofPart I of Schedule 1 thereto(2).

This Order adds National Savings FIRST Option Bonds to the list of investments in Part I of Schedule 1 to the Trustee Investment Act 1961. This Part of the Schedule sets out narrower-range investments that may be made by trustees without previously obtaining advice.
