1.—(1) This Order may be cited as the Gaming Act (Variation of Monetary Limits) (No. 3) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st December 1992.
(2) This Order does not extend to Scotland.
2.—(1) The provisions of section 41 of the Gaming Act 1968 (gaming at entertainments not held for private gain) specified in column 1 of the Schedule to this Order (which relate to the maximum sums permitted in respect of the matters mentioned in column 2 of that Schedule) shall have effect as if, for the sums specified in those provisions, there were substituted the sums specified in column 3 of that Schedule.
(2) Paragraph (1) above shall have effect only in relation to entertainments held on or after the date on which this Order comes into force.
3. Article 3 of, and the Schedule to, the Gaming Act (Variation of Monetary Limits) Order 1988(1) shall be omitted.
