Regulation 2

SCHEDULE 1AMENDMENTS TO THE SOFT DRINKS REGULATIONS 1964

1.  Regulation 5(2) shall be amended—

(a)by substituting the word “quantity” for the word “quantities”;

(b)by deleting the words “added sugar and”;

(c)by deleting proviso (b).

2.  Regulation 5(3) shall be amended—

(a)by substituting the word “quantity” for the word “quantities”;

(b)by deleting the words “added sugar and”.

3.  In Regulation 5(5) the words “a minimum quantity of added sugar or” shall be deleted.

4.  Regulation 7A shall be amended—

(a)by substituting the word “quantity” for the word “quantities”;

(b)by deleting the words “added sugar and”.

5.  In Schedule 2 there shall be deleted from Parts I and II respectively, column 3 and all the figures and words contained within the said column.

6.  In Schedule 3 there shall be omitted from Parts I and II respectively, that part of column 3 headed “Minimum” and all the figures and words contained within that part of that column.

SCHEDULE 2AMENDMENTS TO THE SOFT DRINKS (SCOTLAND) REGULATIONS 1964

1.  Regulation 6(2) shall be amended—

(a)by substituting the word “quantity” for the word “quantities”;

(b)by deleting the words “added sugar and”;

(c)by deleting proviso (b).

2.  Regulation 6(3) shall be amended—

(a)by substituting the word “quantity” for the word “quantities”;

(b)by deleting the words “added sugar and”.

3.  In Regulation 6(5) the words “a minimum quantity of added sugar or” shall be deleted.

4.  Regulation 8A shall be amended—

(a)by substituting the word “quantity” for the word “quantities”;

(b)by deleting the words “added sugar and”.

5.  In Schedule 2 there shall be deleted from Parts I and II respectively, column 3 and all the figures and words contained within the said column.

6.  In Schedule 3 there shall be omitted from Parts I and II respectively, that part of column 3 headed “Minimum” and all the figures and words contained within that part of that column.
