Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 60 (other than sub-section (3)(r)) of the Civil Aviation Act 1982(1) and all other powers enabling Her in that behalf, is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Air Navigation (Fifth Amendment) Order 1993 and shall come into force on 10th December 1993.
2. In article 67(4)(c) of the Air Navigation Order 1989(2) after “1982” there shall be inserted “or the holder of a route licence granted under that section as applied by section 69A of that Act (3)”.

This Order amends the Air Navigation Order 1989 by adding the holder of a route licence granted under section 65 of the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (as applied by section 69A of that Act) to the class of persons against whom unfair, discriminatory or restrictive practices may particularly cause the Secretary of State to exercise his power to revoke, suspend or vary a permit granted under articles 88 or 92 of that Order.
1982 c. 16; section 60 was amended by section 47 of the Aviation and Maritime Security Act 1990 (c. 31).
S.I.1989/2004 to which there are amendments not relevant to this Order.
Section 69A of the Civil Aviation Act 1982 (c. 16) was added by the Licensing of Air Carriers Regulations 1992 (S.I.1992/2992).
