The Housing Benefit and Community Charge Benefit (Subsidy) (No. 2) Order 1993

This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 1993/484 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State for Social Security, with the consent of the Treasury(1), in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 135(2), (4), (5), 136(1), 140(2) to (6), and 189(1) and (3) to (7) of the Social Security Administration Act 1992(2)and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, it having appeared to him that by reason of the urgency of the matter it is inexpedient to consult with organisations appearing to him to be representative of the authorities concerned(3), hereby makes the following Order:
